DUSHANBE, June 27, 2015, Asia-Plus – Tajik and Turkish foreign ministries held political consultations in Dushanbe on June 26, according to the Tajik MFA information department.

Tajik delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidi and Turkish delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Kemal Aydin.

The delegations reportedly discussed issue related to political, economic, cultural, and educational cooperation between the two countries.

They also discussed cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey within the framework of regional and international organizations.

On the same day, Ali Kemal Aydin was received by Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov.  The two exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkey in various areas, the source said.
