DUSHANBE, June 29, 2015, Asia-Plus – The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has reportedly restricted operations of two small lending institutions.

According to the NBT press center, the small lending institutions “Hamdasti” and “Moliya va Sarmoya” are prohibited from providing loans to physical and legal entities during a year.

Besides, these lending institutions are also prohibited from attracting individual and corporate deposits during a year deposits of deposits.

Tajik central bank reportedly made such a decision because “Hamdsti” and “Moliya va Sarmoya” failed to comply with the requirements of the country’s banking legislation and the requirements of the NBT’s regulatory documents.

Both lending institutions are given fifteen days to work out the plan of actions to improve their financial situation and fulfill their obligations, the source said.
