Aircraft of the national air carrier of Tajikistan "Tajik Air" on the 7th of September made an emergency landing at the International airport "Manas" in Bishkek, reports Kyrgyz media.

In a press-service of "Manas" airport was reported that on the 7th of September the flight “Bishkek-Dushanbe” of the airline "Tajik Air" has departed, but returned at 13.00 to "Manas" airport and made an emergency landing.

"We don't know for what reason the plane turned around. In such situations the airline, involved in the transportation, provides passengers with food and hotel. This time all the passengers waited in the airport", – explained the press service.

In a press-service of the airport added that for the transportation of passengers from Dushanbe came another plane and took people.

The “Kabar” Agency reports that the passengers in social networks complained that they had to wait 12 hours, during which they were not fed or provided with the hotel.

Meanwhile, the passenger of the flight said Zanoza.kg about the emergency landing of the aircraft.

"I flew from Bishkek to Dushanbe. The flight was at 12.20. When we boarded the plane it smelled of burning. I thought that this is an old aircraft and that is why it smells. Then we took off and began to hover in the sky, I saw Kara-Balta below. At one point the pilot said: "Dear passengers, we have an emergency situation, we return to the airport "Manas". And then we started circling. It lasted probably 40 minutes. The passengers began to scream, cry, there were many children inside who also cried. The occupancy rate of the aircraft was approximately 60-70%. There was a smell of gasoline and fumes. Then the passengers began to pray aloud. Even the stewardesses cried, because they didn't know what was happening. The plane was flying unusually low, but in the end sat down and no one was hurt," – said Ilgiz Edil uulu.

Passengers were said that there were few chances to survive. According to preliminary data, the plane had problems with the second engine. Later, the pilots reported that the pilot acted according to plan and landed the plane.
