A delegation of Russia’s Ryazan Oblast will arrive in Dushanbe on July 17 on a three-day visit, according to Russia’s Trade Mission in Tajikistan.

Thematic roundtables on expansion of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia and the Business Contacts Exchange will take place at the Rossotrudnichestvo (the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation) office in Dushanbe on July 18.  

Organized by the Russian Trade Mission in Tajikistan and Ryazan Government, the events will focus on issues related to the establishment of direct contacts between Tajik and Ryazan partners in the fields of trade and education, a source at the Russian Trade Mission in Tajikistan told Asia-Plus in an interview. 

According to him, the Business Contacts Exchange will help find business partners and expand cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia’s Ryazan Oblast in the fields of woodworking and export of cereals, oilseeds, dairy products and  instrumentation technologies to Tajikistan.
