Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Tajik capital and six streets and eight neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Jabbor-Rasoulov, Mayakovski, Lolazor, Bal’ami, Yusuf-Vafo ad Mir streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network told Asia-Plus in an interview.

“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Jangalak, Dehnavak, Dashti Khorzo, Qazoqon, Hamadoni, Zarafshon-2 and Navbahor neighborhoods,” the source added.
