In the framework of joint initiatives in border communities, aimed at strengthening of friendly relationsfr, good-neighborliness traditions and the development of cultural cooperation with the support of local authorities in cross-border villages of Isfara and Batken districts of the Kyrgyz Republic in honor of the 25th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic held a series of festive events.

Such festivals of friendship took place between the Kyrgyz-Tajik border communities – Vorukh jamoats and rural district councils Aksay, Chorkuh and AK-Tatyr, Surkh and Samarkandek.

At the Grand feast of friendship in Aksay village, which was organized in the framework of “Transboundary cooperation to achieve sustainable peace and development” program, implemented by five UN agencies in the border communities of Batken and Sughd regions of Tajikistan; was attended by the Governor of Batken region Abish Halmurzaev, chairmen of Isfara Dilshod Rasulzoda and of Batken district Taalaibek Ibrahimov, the head of administrative-legal Department of the Executive body of state power in Sughd Mukimjon Saidov, Plenipotentiary representative of Sughd region in Batken oblast Giesiddin Esanov, as well as youth and residents of cross-border villages.
