DUSHANBE, November 26, 2008, Asia-Plus –  Chinese national was killed on November 23 as his car fell into a 35-precipice in GBAO’s Shugnan district.

According to the GBAO police directorate, the accident took place Sunday evening near the village of Chartem, Shugnan district, some 70 kilometers eat of Khorog.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.     

37 traffic accidents have been registered in Gorno Badakhshan since the beginning of this year.  17 people have been killed and 42 others have been injured in those accidents.
