DUSHANBE, May 2, 2009, Asia-Plus — Deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) endorsed amendments reducing the term of registration of legal and individual entities from 49 to 5 days at an April 30 sitting of the lower chamber, presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Presenting the draft law on amendments to the country’s law on state registration of enterprises and entrepreneurs, the Tax Committee head Nusratullo Davlatov noted that adoption of that law was an important step towards introduction of “One-stop-shop” (OSS) principle. The OSS principle allows reducing the registration process for entrepreneurs from 49 to 5 working days that, in turns, will improve attractiveness of Tajikistan for foreign investors and create conditions for reduction of the unemployment rate in the country, he said.
The Majlisi Namoyandagon deputies also endorsed the draft law on banking activity in Tajikistan.
