Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Pakistan”s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Navabzadu Malik Amad Khan on August 3. He arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a high-rank delegation.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on the whole range of interstate cooperation, including the construction of the Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas pipeline, the Turkmenistan.ru has learned from the press service of the Turkmen leader.

The sides named the humanitarian sphere, in particular education, health and culture among key areas of interstate cooperation, the press service noted.

The first meeting of the Turkmen-Pakistani intergovernmental commission in Ashgabat, which brings together heads and representatives of several government agencies, including the leading ministries and departments of the two countries, was timed to the visit of the delegation.
