QURGHON TEPPA, July 11, 2011, Asia-Plus — The Khatlon prosecutor’s office has completed investigation into the case of drug pusher from Khuroson district.

Tolibjon Azimov, a chief aide to the Khatlon prosecutor, says resident of Khuroson district, Davron Muminov, has attempted to establish transportation of narcotics to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.

“He tried to persuade local woman N.S. to travel to Yekaterinburg with 480 grams of heroin in her stomach, promising to pay her US$700 for that,” said the prosecutor.  “But the woman refused and applied to the State Committee for National Security (SCNS)’s office fro Khatlon.  Muminov was detained and criminal proceedings have been instituted against him.”

Investigation into Muminov’s case has been completed and it has moved to a court.
