DUSHANBE, July 25, 2011, Asia-Plus — More than 1,400 new facilities across the country will be put in commission by September 9, Minister of Finance Safarali Najmiddinov told journalists on July 25.

According to him, construction of 854 facilities has been financed from the national budget.  “This year, alone, the national budget has earmarked some 300 million somoni (equivalent to more than 63 million U.S. dollars) for construction of jubilee facilities,” said Najmiddinov, “All in all, the facilities have come to more than one billion somoni (some U$212 million).”

The minister noted that presidential fund had also allocated 11 million somoni (equivalent to more than US$2.3 million) for construction of an orphanage in Rushan district, Gorno Badakhshan.
