DUSHANBE, October 2, 2012, Asia-Plus  — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered amendments proposed the electronic documents law at an October 2 meeting, presided over by its head, Shukurjon Zuhurov.

An electronic document is any electronic media content (other than computer programs or system files) that is intended to be used in either an electronic form or as printed output.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the meeting also discussed the bill requiring amendments to the country’s law on refugees.

The board reportedly also considered an agreement between the Government of Tajikistan and the Export-Import Bank of China on providing the preferential loan for rehabilitation of the Dushanbe-Danghara highway and a supplement to the financial protocol between Tajikistan and France on construction of a new terminal at the Dushanbe airport.

All these issues will be considered at the next sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation, Sultonov said.
