Jamshed Yorov – the lawyer of former Deputy Leader of the banned IRPT Mahmadali Hayit – was detained in Dushanbe.

As reported Yorov’s relatives, now Jamshed Yorov is in custody, he was charged under article 311 (divulgation of state secret) of the Criminal code of Tajikistan.

According to the source, Yorov is accused of circulating a copy of the court decision on the members of the banned Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan, which was held behind the closed doors in the regime of perfect secrecy.

“For this reason were detained a wife and son of Mahmadali Hayit. Yesterday at noon they were released, and then to the case was attracted Jamshed Yorov. Now a criminal case under article 311 is officially opened” – said the source.

Recall that in September was arrested Jamshed’s brother Buzurgmekhr Yororv, who was also the lawyer of IRPT activists.
