The subsequent joint action to implement the project on construction of the road Kulob – Kalai Khumb were agreed at a meeting between representatives of the Islamic Development Bank and Saudi development fund with the heads of relevant ministries of Tajikistan, reports the Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance.

At the meeting with the delegation of these financial institutions, headed by the regional Director of the IDB in Central Asia Hisham Taleb Mahroof, took part the Minister of Finance of the RT Abdusalom Kurboniyon and transport Minister of the RT Sherali Ganjalzoda.

The parties discussed further co-financing of the project “Construction of the road Kulob – Kalai Khumb, plot Sh. Shokhin – Shohon”.

“Focusing on the implementation of the project, the parties agreed the next steps of achieving positive results in this direction”, – emphasized in the Ministry of Finance.

Note that the question of further financing of the project in the beginning of the year was discussed at the meeting of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon with the President of IDB Ahmad Muhammed Ali.

The IDB President noted that in Tajikistan will be sent a working group to review the implementation of the project of construction of a highway Kulyab – Kalai Khumb.
