Dushanbe mayor’s office has endorsed the list of recipients for student grants for school students instituted by the capita mayor.

The deputy Dushanbe mayor, Mavsouma Muinzoda, says 200 competitively selected senior school students and students of technical vocational schools will receive a monthly grant of 250 somoni each in the 2018-2019 academic year.  

According to Ms. Muinzoda, the grant was instituted last year for the purpose of encouraging and supporting students and creating conditions for an active participation of the rising generation in public affairs.
