Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Tajik capital and twelve streets and five neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Jabbor-Rasoulov, Hofiz Sherozi, Shevchenko, Bukhoro, Chapayev, Shapkin, Mash’al, Kofarnihon, Qahhorov, Hisor, Bobojon-Ghafourov and Alisher Navoi streets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” said an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network.  “Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Yakkatut, Falakon, Chorteppa, Afghono and Obchakoron neighborhoods.”
