DUSHANBE, August 22, 2011, Asia-Plus — The 62-year-old resident of the town of Vahdat, Davron Tugayev, was arrested on August 21 on suspicion of murdering his one-year-old grandson Sherzod.
The source at the Ministry of Interior says Davron Tugayev allegedly poisoned Sherzod by acetic acid following quarrel with his son Bakhtiyor.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Davron Tugayev and an investigation is under way.
