The average monthly salary in Uzbekistan by results of 9 months in 2008 is 298.6 thousand sums (approximately US$ 220), reported Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

The report on social-economic development of Republic in 9 months of 2008 of Mnistry of Economy and State Statistics Committee was published November 21.

According to this report, monthly salary increased on 57.4% comparing with the last year same period, the average pension increased on 71.7%, income increased on 24.4%.
