President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on realizing agreements, reached during the state visit of the President to the Republic of Korea, and further developing bilateral cooperation.

The document was adopted in order to ensure timely realization of bilateral inter-governmental and inter-departmental agreements on developing trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea, reached during the state visit of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov to the Republic of Korea on 10-12 February 2010.

The resolution approved Action Plan on realization of signed agreements, reached during the visit, and the list of investment projects, which are realized with the participation of the Korean corporations and companies. These documents were not disclosed.

Heads of ministries and departments, business entities were entrusted to ensure timely and quality execution of action plan and present quarterly reports on its implementation to the Government of Uzbekistan, the document said.
