Chinese company to help Tajikcement to switch to coal

Yesterday, April 23, Tajikcement company and Beijing Jinchuang Combined Gas Meter Co.Ltd signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, Tajik Energy and Industry Ministry reported.

The document was signed at Tajik Energy and Industry Minister Gul Sherali’s meeting with the visiting Chinese delegation, which included representatives of Beijing Jinchuang Combined Gas Meter Co.Ltd, the source reported.

The sides discussed the procedure of switching Tajikcement to coal fuel.

Representatives of the Chinese company are expected to visit Tajikcement in the nearest time and familiarize with its production lines. Following this visit, they are planning to design related feasibility study for fuel switching procedure.

Earlier this month Gul Sherali met with representatives of Chinese TBEA company and offered cooperation in Tajikcement’s fuel switching procedure. Chinese delegates promised to think about the offer.
