DUSHANBE, September 13, 2012, Asia-Plus  — Three persons were killed and at least two others were injured on September 12 as a car turned over in the northern Sughd province.

An official source at the Interior ministry traffic police directorate says the accident took in the Mastchoh district Wednesday afternoon.

“Najmiddin Kamolov, 22, apparently failed to control his Mercedes and it went into oncoming traffic and turned over,” said the source.  “Three passengers were killed in the accident while the driver and one of his passengers sustained various injuries and were taken to the Mastchoh central district hospital.”

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
