The President of Tajikistan gave a start to the beginning of construction of the sports and entertainment complex in the administrative center of Khatlon in Kurgan-Tyube, reports the press service of the President.

It is noted that this complex is planned to be built gradually on the area of 54 hectares, a large part of its territory will be occupied by small and large football, volleyball, basketball, tennis fields, physical culture hall and the palace of water sports.

The complex includes the construction of a unique football stadium for 25 thousand seats, which have no analogues in the region for its architectural style.

Also the complex will include an artificial lake and Park of culture and leisure in the area of 12 hectares.

It is expected that after commissioning of the complex, hundreds of people from local population will be provided with permanent jobs and good wages.
