In Khujand at the stadium “the 20 anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan” on Saturday, August 27, was held a friendly match between the national football teams of Tajikistan and Syria. The meeting has not revealed the winner. The game ended in a goalless draw – 0:0.

The match at the stadium was watched by seven million viewers.

According to the official website of the FFT, Tajik national team played the match without three key legionary players – Nuriddin Davronov, Davronjon Ergashev and Parvizjon Umarbaev. The match was officiated by the referees from Russia, led by Alexey Nikolaev.

It should be noted that four players spent the debut match for the national team in the game with the Syria – Zoir Juraboev, Firuz Karaev, Muhammajoni Hasan and Oybek Abdugafforov.

The main prize – the car “Mercedes-Benz”, which was raffled off after the friendly match between the national teams of Tajikistan and Syria have won the father of “Khujand” striker and the national team Farhod Tohirov – Davron Tohirov, a resident of Jabborrasulov district.
