The ruling people's democratic party of Tajikistan since the end of August to early September will conduct the Republican charity event "the Light of knowledge".

As reported the press secretary of the PDPT Usmon Soliev, in the framework of the action all provincial, municipal, district and primary cells of the party will assist in the preparation for the new school year to orphans, children with disabilities and children from poor families.

"In the framework of the action children throughout the country will be provided with school uniforms, textbooks and other educational supplies", – said Soliev.

According to him, in every city and region action of the PDPT will cover at least 20 students.

Recall that formed in 1994 PDPT unites in its ranks more than 480 thousand Tajik people. The chairman of the party is the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon. About 40 percent of party members are young people.

The majority of the deputies and members of both houses of the Parliament of Tajikistan, local councils of people's deputies of regions, cities and districts of the Republic, the government, heads of regions, districts and cities of Tajikistan are members or nominees of PDPT.
